Last month I shot a little pastel-colored editorial for Zeum Magazine's fourth issue at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens with a wonderful team. So excited to finally release the images and I'm so honored to be featured amongst many of my favorite photographers.

'goth rave'

With only a few weeks left in the school year, work has been piling up and the weekends have become a nice release. In the midst of preparing for finals and term papers and photo critiques, I've been a little MIA. Recently, I was accepted into the Gallatin School of Individualized Study within NYU, where I hope to focus more on visual arts and media! I also found out that I will be studying at NYU Paris come next spring.

This weekend was a nice time to celebrate and relax, so on Friday I went to a 'goth rave' with a bunch of friends where we danced all night until our feet hurt. The lighting was nothing short of amazing. I already miss New York City and I haven't even left yet...

prelude to spring

Last Friday the weather in New York City proved to be some of the warmest we've had since the fall, a perfect excuse to ditch winter coats and be one with nature. My friends and I decided to take advantage of this momentary leap towards spring, planning a picnic in Central Park. We found a nice rock near Central Park West and listened to Beach House as we chatted over lunch.

That evening, the gang went to The Bowery Hotel because our friend Luka's dad was hosting an East Coast version of an event that he created back in Los Angeles called "School Night", a night featuring live music & DJ sets by talented (and often upcoming) artists.

Samantha Ronson performed an acoustic set of her debut album, Chasing The Reds. She had a beautiful sound and I was reminded of the days in middle school when I used to listen to her song "Built This Way" incessantly. Also performing was Australian singer Matt Corby and the Australian band Husky. Twin Shadow & Luka's dad, Chris, dj'd at different points throughout the evening.

Meeting Twin Shadow.

Like father, like son.

P.S. Today I shot my first editorial since moving to NYC, so excited to share pictures + details very soon!
